Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 in Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter and only of Richard McCormick. Her father was a schoolteacher while her mother was a stay-at-home mother. Michael Dennis and Kevin are three of her older brothers. McCormick was a talented artist and singer from the age of 6. Her passion was to show puppet shows for her neighbors. When McCormick was six years older, she was crowned the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley pageant. Pat Domigan at Jack Wormser Agency phoned and asked her whether she'd be interested in entering the show business. McCormick got her first job as a leading actress in 1964. She starred in a commercial for Mattels new doll, Baby Pattaburp. In the following year, she starred in another commercial for Mattels Chatty Cathy doll and was shortly cast in the musical The Wind It Up And It is Broken at the La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick, which was chosen out of 1200 auditioning children to play the older of three two-headed daughters, in The Brady Bunch (1969) with Florence Henderson and Robert Reed. The run of five years for The Brady Bunch was an enormous successful one. In her memoir Heres the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice published in 2008 McCormick disclosed that during the shows fifth season she nearly lost her virginity to her onscreen brother and co-star Barry Williams. In 2008, she revealed in her book Heres the story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice that in season five on the show, she was close to losing her virginity to Barry Williams. The incident could have occurred, she said but the timing wasn't the right time for us.
